This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from essentialplannerco.com (the “Site”).

We collect Device Information using the following technologies: 

    - “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

    - “Cookies” which are data files placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. If you would like additional information about cookies, including how to disable cookies, please visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

    - “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

Please also keep in mind that when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

The term “Personal Information” within this Privacy Policy is in reference to both Device Information and Order Information.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

When you visit the Site, we might automatically collect certain information about you or your device, including, for example, information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.  For example, we use Shopify to power our online store. Do Not Track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser. 

Social Plugins, Social Media Widgets, and Connecting via Social Networks 

The Site may include different types of “social plugins” and social media widgets. These features may collect your IP address and information on which pages you are visiting on the Site, and they may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on the Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it. The Site may include social media widgets from Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and Pinterest that use cookies to track users and advertise to them when they visit those platforms. If you do not want to be tracked by social media widgets, log out of all social networks you’re logged in to before visiting the Site. If you choose to log in to the Site using a social networking service, we may receive and store authentication information from that service to allow you to enable your log in and other information you may choose to share when you connect with those services.

Your Rights

European Residents

European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

Data Retention

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13.

The Site is not intended for children. No one under age 13 may provide any Personal Data on the Site. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Site.

If we learn we have collected or received Personal Data from a child under 13, we will use reasonable efforts to refrain from further using such Personal Data or maintaining it in retrievable form. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, then you (or your parent or legal guardian) may at any time request that we remove content or information about you that is posted on the Site. Please submit any such request (with the subject line “Request for Removal of Minor Information”) to hello@essentialplannerco.com, For each Request for Removal of Minor Information, please state “Removal of Minor Information” in the e-mail or letter subject line, and clearly state the following in the body:

a. the nature of your request;

b. the identity of the content or information to be removed;

c. whether such content or information if found on the Site;

d. the location on content or information on the Site (e.g., providing the URL for the specific web page the content or information is found on);

e. that the request is related to the “Removal of Minor Information”;

f. your name, street address, city, state, zip code, and e-mail address;

and g. whether you prefer to receive a response to your request by mail or e-mail. We are not responsible for failing to comply with any Request for Removal of Minor Information that is incomplete, incorrectly labeled, or incorrectly sent.
